Description
A restoration commission for the illustrated bentwood chairs. Offers should cover inspection, cleaning and repair of the timber frames and seats. The chairs are not being sold; lower valid service offers lead this auction.
The curved frames and shaped seats define the visual character to be retained in the restoration. The work should be considered as a service for the illustrated furniture rather than an acquisition of the chairs. Any proposed treatment should distinguish the necessary repairs from optional cosmetic work.
